There are five luxurious live aboard boats at Dhoni Island Resort which are hand crafted in local palm wood and that make up the place of living of this wonderful resort.  Each dhoni is 65 feet long and they are powered by inboard engines.  The dhoni comes complete with a sun deck where you can lay and sunbathe; there is also a dinning saloon that will leave you breathless.

The rooms at the Dhoni Island Resort have hotel style bedrooms that have a comfortable king size and are right next to wardrobes and an en suite bathroom with all the luxury capable of an elegant dhoni.

The restaurant, bar and lounge have some of the best cuisine dishes from five continents with a wide variety including sea food and meat and everything in between.  The spa is a serene place to free the spirit and relax the body and mind with a wonderful view of the beach and the lagoon.

The Dhoni Island Resort offers a magnificent dhoni diving school for all of those guests that wish to discover the underwater marine ecosystem that surrounds the island.  There are dozens of spectacular diving sites and the hotel instructor knows them all so you can experience what it’s like to swim with such creatures as the eagle rays, turtles and even whale sharks.

Other activities in which the guest can participate have to do with cruising the beautiful waters of the Atolls, having romantic intimate picnics on deserted islands, fishing, swimming, and diving, enjoying some sunbathing in private and dinning on the deck underneath the stars.
